    Hi all,

Just put my mind at rest. Just getting round to fitting the rear brake cable on a 2016 Orange 5. For the rear brake through the swing arm do I disconnect at the lever or calliper?

Which is easier, thread up through the swing arm or or down from the lever end?

    Cheers

either, probably depends on the brake

    New style XT.

Just wondered if there was an easier way. I’m guessing I’ll definitely have to bleed.

I’ll need to shorten them so I’ll push the Pistons out and try that method.

my last set were piss poor bled out of the factory so I guess thats just what you need to do. Just fit and do a proper bleed

Disconnect at the top, you adjust length at the lever end, the banjo at the caliper is a permanent fitting.

Yeah, that’s what made sense to me.

    I’ll do that then. Cheers
