Going to be working in Bracknell for NeXT few months, and as I will be staying in the week, I wondered if anyone can recommend Places to ride, Groups to ride with (average rider)

and what the place is like.

Swinley Forest!

Tunnel Hill trolls would be the go to group I’d say, or berks on bikes if you want more of a club and fewer hip flasks. Riding is all crap, no miles and miles decent twisty woodland singletrack anywhere in the area, no Surrey Hills or Chilterns within easy reach.

Bracknell itself is a bit meh. There are some dodgy bits and some nicer bits. It’s also the main corridor from m3 to m4 so traffic can be interesting at times, which means commuting in could be a bit soul destroying unless you can ride in.
