I’m stuck in the square taper era, but I want to figure this one out. I’ve got a bike (GT Grade) which has a pf30 shell, and uses a Praxis adaptor with a 105 chainset.

Long story short*, I’d like to put an FSA Mega Exo crank on this. Any ideas how?

*I loathe Mega Exo but I have a Stages power meter with that standard, sitting unused in a drawer. It’ll not fetch much if I sell it, so might as well stick it on the commuter bike…

Regular Mega Exo has 24mm spindle and is compatible with Shimano HT2 although the fit can be a bit snugger. Depends on the model of crank and how bearing axial-play is adjusted can mean that BB shell width and spacers can be more critical – you may have to shim or use wavey washers to compensate.

That’s what I suspected Dove biker, I suppose I’ll have to get hold of a drive side crank to try it really.
