guys I need service help/advice please.

I’ve had these serviced regularly at jtech but they’ve not been used much this year and I fancy an oil change myself as my old fox were easy.

Any guidance on what oil to use?

How to service?

I used 7.5wt Motul oil last time I did an oil change myself. I did my 160’s myself and my 140’s were done by jtech albeit they had a good service too but both feel similar damping wise. I’m sure the official Bos service centres (jungle,mad elk) will be the only ones who can get hold of the proper stuff anyway.

I did mine at the weekend, used thered’s excellent post on the thread linked above as a guide, and it was really quick and easy. Fitted Fox 34 seals, and used Motul Factoryline 7.5w oil. They feel absolutely spot on.

One thing – if they haven’t been used much, then why change the oil?

Just had a ride out the other night an felt a slight knock in the initial travel like they’re a bit dry
