Anyone know what sizing is like on the above compared to a 2.35 minion or a 2.25 ardent? Or even how much bigger than mud x 2.0?
    Cheers

Hi have run XR4`s they were either 2.25 or 2.3 and also minions and high rollers.
The XR4`s come up pretty big compared to the maxxis tyres. A very rounded profile and really filled the seat stays on my Turner. The minion looks a lot smaller / narrower in comparison for a tyre that is supposed to be the same size. That said I prefer the size and slightly less rounded shape of the minions.

2.35 minion is slightly smaller than the new xr3 2.2.

    XR4’s are massive. The 2.2.is easily a 2.35 maxxis

I’d stay away from XR3s, my rear lasted a day on the South Downs flint, the tread is too spaced apart and compound too soft, might be ok just as a mud tyre but not an all-rounder as the marketing spiel suggests.
