Just wondering how much the pinch bolts should be tightened down on bolt thru 20mm forks such as the 2003 Boxxers I'm currently using? I always feel like I crank down too hard on bolts and I'm worried I'll strip a thread! Do they only need to be just past "snug" or should they be done up pretty well? I currently don't have a torque wrench to get an accurate feel for it.

the clue is in the name "pinch bolt" not "wind it down so tight your knuckles go white" bolts.
keep to that rule and you should be fine

Not much - just whats easy with your fingers on the small end of the allen key. Most folk overtighten small bolts. to snug plus a we bit not to effing tight

Cheers, sounds like I've already been doing them up a bit much, luckily nothing stripped so got away with it this time
