  • Bolt size M3 x 0.5 x 10 – Mean anything to anyone? Need a replacement.

Manitou have told me that the bolt I need to replace the broken one is M3 x 0.5 x 10. I understand the M3 is the thread size and the 10 could possibly be the length of the threaded portion (10mm) but is the 0.5 significant? Something to do with the thread perhaps? If I’m getting a replacement do I need to make sure this is spot on?

Oh, and any pointers on a good site to use to get the replacement would be welcome.

    Thanks.

0.5 is the pitch, which is standard pitch for m3. 10 is the length.

    Try screwfix

My local bearing supplier are great for stuff like this.

If I need just a couple of bolts etc they’ll supply them if I pop 50p in the charity tin.
