Did you know you can buy them pre-boiled?
?? OMG WTF etc etc.

The total collapse of our civilisation really cannot be held off much longer, surely?
you always have been able to. Only they're now doing the boring non-pickled variety
Nearly as stupid as pre-grated cheese.
Genius, cold boiled eggs are under rated as a snack based product
Nearly as stupid as pre-grated cheese.
Not if you don't own a cheese grater.
Or you're not allowed one because you might harm yourself with it.

I see nothing wrong in pre-grated cheese, nor pre-boiled eggs.
An episode of Saxondale in which tinned potatoes are slagged off did get me thinking (not that I've ever bought them).
It's less stupid than pre-grated cheese, with the cheese you get a fraction of the amount you think you're buying.
Pre boiled eggs are a bit cruel on the chicken imo
Pre-grated cheese v handy for camping.

doesn't the pre-grated cheese have the weight marked on the packaging?

A tent is more useful...

Errm how does that work then?
Boiled eggs are pointless without some "runny" for the soldiers.

But it does come with free air.
Saw a tin of pre fried onions in Morrisons last week
Unless you grow it, kill it and cook it yourself, in pots you've fired yourself, from clay dug by yourself, heated by firewood you're collected yourself from trees you coppice yourself, stirred and prepared with utensils you've whitted yourself, with a knife you cast from molten ore you mined yourself, and sharpened with a stone you worked yourself you're not allowed to eat.
BY ORDER.

Last time I looked it was in fact cheaper by weight (than std mozz).
EPIC FAIL.

Only if you're a idiot, and judge the value everything you buy by pack size.
Aren't some people really nice on here?
i just buy a scotch egg and peel of the breadcrumb and pig based packaging

I just can't really think of a time when I've thought "I need a hard-boiled egg now, this instant, there is no time to boil one and I lack a pan, water and a source of heat".
Maybe supply will stimulate demand.
And would the users of this fabulous product just have pre-boiled eggs in the fridge, or would they also have to have raw eggs in case they fancied a runny one or a carbonara anyway?
or a carbonara anyway
I feel the need to have a sudden hard-boiled-egg-requiring emergency.
Still on the bright side, at least they're free range
The best carbonara has cream and eggs...
But a real carbonara only has eggs, bacon, garlic, olive oil, pasta, cracked black pepper, rock salt and parmesan...
Morrisons do then in their salad selection counter
I think its £1.35 for a small salad box ,you fill it with what you want,i can get 7 eggs in the small size
Saves boiling them, just mash ,season and add mayo
-instant egg mayonnaise
Ah but a small amount of cream added in is perfectly accepted in Italy. It's only the people who try to out-genuine them who'll be fussed about adding it in

Ace for curry.
Saves a lot of time/smell.
Boiled Eggs 10p each in HB CoOp today btw.

I prefer the term "special"

The best one I ever had was in Morzine one summer when biking - sat in the sun after a hard morning's riding with a couple of beers and this mountain appeared with half an eggshell on top with the fresh yolk still in - just poured over, stirred slightly and devoured. mmmmmmmm Went back to the restaurant last winter but the food was rubbish
So that's cream to taste then
Definitely needs raw eggs and lots of parmesan though
So that's cream to taste then
Hope you mean fresh Parmesan...
