I have a 7 year old who ended up in A and E this week after a dodgy landing whilst jumping at Cannock Chase. What elbow/knee protection and full face helmets would people recommend to help try and avoid an evening spent in hospital?

I did search and found a very similar post from a couple of years back but wondered if there was some more stuff on the market nowadays. We have tried the Raleigh/DB helmet but it’s still a bit big…

One industry atom helmet can be had relatively cheaply. Brand x body armour is really good value for money as well. Lad rides bmx, I’m now considering a neck brace for him as he’s started to jump a bloody long way.

Problem with elbow pads on their own is that they seem quite restrictive, having said that bliss now make some nice junior pads.
