    A 17mm spanner, plus a 2mm Allen key make an ideal substitute for a 15mm spanner, for people who can’t find their 15mm spanners.

    A couple of suitably sized allen keys shoved into your Hollowtech compression nut work just fine if you’ve lost the proper tool.

    A selection of coins of the realm make good spanner shims as well
