I am considering getting a new mtb however the c2w scheme i am in means i can only buy from halfords (or pay full price).

The Boardman Pro 29er is only £810 the moment. Do any of you have this bike and would you recommend it. I do not ride anywhere very technical and mainly stick to bridleways.

I was at Halfords yesterday to pick up some bits and I had a look on this bike. To be honest it looks very nice! Good spec, light, the silver colour looks cool too – I think it seems to be a great XC bike!

Looks like a good spec for the price.
The only thing I don’t like is the FSA 3 arm propriety crankset which ties you into their chainrings, but then again a cheap SLX crankset is only £45
