Am I doing something wrong or is awkward to operate.

    – Open the QR
    – Spin while pushing to locate the groove
    – Undo the bolt

I don’t find it easy and find reversing the above particularly tricky. Is there a way to spin the QR so it faces the way you want it to?

I’ve got this years one which is a Formula 12mm one.

It works in a very similar way to the older Maxle but it’s far better made.

Afaik the bold should be tight, but not massively so, then flipping the lever actually tensions the whole thing. The Allen key inside the handle adjusts the tension.

To undo, simply the reverse. It by not cranking it too tight, it’s quite easy.

Suspect I’m going too tight. I’d not realised flipping the lever tensioned it. I’ll try again.

    Thanks for your help

The Allen key adjusts tension when the lever is in the open position, again like the old maxle.
