I run spuds on my roadie, with XC shoes (Spesh BG Pro)

I fancy some BOA versions, as the velcro isn’t ideal.

    What is there?

I think the latest Shimanos are BOA (S-Phyre?). Any others?

they still have velcro for the ‘lowest’ fastener though…

Once set, you’ll never touch the lower velcro strap. Mine has never moved, even in Hampshire/Wiltshire claggy gloop.

Pedantry- Sidi use an in house Boa-esque system. It’s good, but one thing about Boa is their truly epic back up. Not sure if Sidi could keep up with that.

Scott have a good range of boa shoes across 3 different lasts. Tight race through more generous trail.

Yes – the Bontrager Cambion ones and I’d have to say that they are the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever had for long road rides -a lot better than the Giro, Specialized, Mavic or Northwave shoes I’ve used.

Another vote for the sworks. I’ve the road and mtb versions and can’t find fault with either. Nor should I be able to at that price.

To be fair, ingot mine before Spesh’s price hike, so ‘only’ £250 a pair rrp, but still.

You could always buy my bargain S-Works shoes that are in the for sale section 😆
