    Whats a good BMX for a 41 yr old man ? 😳

I want to start teaching the little lad (4) some bike skills so i thought i’d get a Bmx for myself so i can ride with him. My budget is £250

What do you want the bmx for: street, park, race, pumptrack?

What bike you getting the lad? I’d recommend and bmx race in size mini or micro mini. Lightweight, correct size bars, cranks etc. Don’t forget his safety gear. 😀

I’m also 41, and bought a park bmx to play on the local ramps. Its a Stolen Wrap (half price at CRC) and is so much fun! Making me thing about a race bmx as well, so i can take it along with my 4x to gosport bmx track 🙂

Get a second handun mate, bmx bikes never seem to hold there value well so you’ll get something for nowt.

They’re all much of a muchness really, only thing to consider is a long (21″ or more) top tube and high (8″ or so) bars if you’re tall (5 foot 10 or more)

My son would probably sell his for £250 as he need to fund his motorbike insurance although he’d ideally like more. Fantastic bike which cost over £600 so its right about bmx not holding their value. I can post a link if you’ld like… let me know.

    How tall are you?
