Looking for blu ray player, not fused about 3D playback

Ideally £60-100ish, got an Internet tv so not fussed on that as a feature.

I have a Sony Bravia tv so I guess a Sony model would be preferable connected via hdmi

    What hifi seems to rate the bpds380 / bpds390 / bpds370

Anyone got any experience of them or got any advice?

    Cheers

If you are only playing commercially sourced movies then any of those is a good machine as stated by What HiFi. However, if you want to play home burnt discs then the Sony models you listed can be very fussy about brand of disc and authoring software. The BPDS380 seems the worst offender.

    Have you considered the ps3?

I’ve got the S370. It’s great, was the best available at the time, but ‘the time’ was two years ago. They’ve long been superseded.

    Ps3 isn’t £100 though

Ps3 can be picked up for £120, great bluray player.

It is (I use mine as one). But it can be bloody slow loading up and preparing films.

    And it isn’t £100!
