    You will notice the difference but its no worse than riding after a bad nights sleep or into a head wind. Having said that I think they recommend laying off strenuous activity for 12 hours after donating (could be wrong on that). There is supposed to be a super-compensation effect 2-3 days after when your body has gone into over drive producing red blood cells

    It’ll never be plain sailing giving blood. Its going out of your way, the discomfort etc that all reinforce a good deed

    Most people run to keep fit then enter into an event that asks people for money so they can show everyone that they are a ‘good person’.

    Trudging to a non descript building to have blood drained out of you isnt cool or glamorous.

    I’d disagree there buddy, it’s a breeze. There are several venues around my area and I just find the nearest one when I’m due to donate. It’s about an hour out of my life every 3 months.
