    Di need the dedicated kit or can i do it shimano style with a bit of pipe?

    I have a set, which I haven't had to bleed yet, but IMO looks lust same as a Deore to bleed

    i do mine in the same style as shimano, syringe and tubing from caliper end pushing oil upwards

    Yup, no need for the kit. But, they do have a habit of having the diaphragm not deflate, which means you end up with very little fluid in the reservoir, so I do mine by taking the rear cap off rather than trying to use the bleed hole, it's a bit of a faff but it works better. Careful of the tiny bolts if you do this!
