Why exactly? I see loads of posts on here asking how to bleed brakes, but why? Are people accidentally letting air into whatever system they have or what? Or are they just bored & think, 'ah fu*k it, I think I'll bleed me brakes' I've had drybollick discs for, ohh since the first Hope mini's came out & I think I've bled them about…, once, in the Alps. The M4's I've got now have never been bled apart from when I changed the fluid (cos some brake fluid absorbs moisture over time) & they've been to Les Gets & Chatel with no need for bleeding. As an ex motor mechanic I know that car brake fluid should be changed about every 50K or so, cos of the moisture thing, but I don't get the amount of 'how to bleed' thing on here.
