Apart from the evil tendrils reaching out from the hedgerows into the paths, there do seem to be abundant berries about. Still not ripe around north wilts yet, but pretty soon. Apple and blackberry pie – yummmmm.

    Sloe Gin.
    Damson Brandy,
Raspberry Vodka, (actually that one can be started anytime really with shop bought Raspberries)

Noticed some ripe berries around my way last week. Better left for a while though 🙂 Looks like it will be a bumper season.

We’re still a week away. The berries seem to be about 2 weeks behind this summer.

I throw a ladder across the bush and wade out into it. Oven mitt on left hand, bucket hanging from left wrist, I pull the branches to the picking hand with the protected hand.

South Glos does seem to get everything early recently 🙂

However, it all ends quicker 🙁
