‘Non-scheduled flight in light aircraft’ used to attract the attention of insurance companies, and not in a nice way. Or so I seem to remember. Then there’s the possible rich and important person with appointment scenario, which might apply. But it’s wrong to speculate.

Probably not………I live about .5 mile from the crash site and a mate of mine who lives even closer said it sounded like a bag of nails when it took off. And he hears it regularly. Me and the Mrs were out on the tandem and stopped to watch it land about 3 hours earlier 🙁
