    Hi,

I’m planning a (new) loop in the Black Mountains and I would like to connect the following tops: Pen Y Manllwyn, Waun Fach, Pen Y Gadair Fawr, Disgwylfa and finishing down the singletrack along Crug Mawr. on my old OS map , there is a black line connecting all those tops. Is it easily ridable?

    thanks,

    Gilles

yes, did it the other week starting in Llanbedr and up the hermitage valley, up Pen Trumau to Waun Fach and then along the ridge to Crug Mawr

Lots and lots of fun, but please only ride it in the dry (which it is very ATM!)

Really good natural feel to the trail, fast, few ruts in places (came off twice and brusied my thighs up!) Even Waun Fach was so dry you could ride it without sinking down!

As far as I know the black dashed lines are not rights of way if that’s what your asking? Not saying I wouldn’t ride them though

Waun Fach was a peaty pushing slog when I did it – maybe if it were bone dry it might be rideable.

    Thank you all!

Yes, I’m doing this loop based on the fact that it’s look very very dry.
