    Evenin’,

I have a 29er rear Mudhugger from my old hardtail, and a Bird Aeris Mk1. I’ve searched high and low for instructions or a picture of how to meld the two. I’m sure I read somewhere that you need to cut the driveside Mudhugger mount to avoid the derailleur cable but I’d love to see a piccy of it done well before I ruin my €36 lump of black plastic! Much obliged if someone could help me out.

    Cheers,

Hi,You are correct just cut or grind the section of foot away where it interferes with the cable boss and then fix. No need to grind away any more than the side of the foot. I can send you a pic tomorrow if you email me sales@themudhugger.co.uk Cheers Bruce
