+1 for the Uprising 650b. I just hope they give it more rear tyre clearance than the current 26er version oh and it’d have to be more fun to ride than my Spitty to justify a swap in the first place.
unsure how I feel about those formula forks though.
Having ridden them on a demo 601 in Garda, I’m quite impressed with them.
I’ve also ridden a 601 with ‘zocchi 66Ti forks. Of the two, I actually prefer the Formulas. They feel quite “Pike-y”.
Maintenance manuals are available on-line now too and they look relatively easy to do. Haven’t checked availability of parts though.

I Like That Bianchi a Lot. It’s the SL isn;t it? Rumors it weighs similar to my R5ca but can’t see it myself, looks bloomin lovely though that.
It’s the new Specialissima at a quoted 780g it might not be the lightest, but it’s still up there!
For those above checking out Sprockets Cycles, I can highly recommend them as they deliver next day.
Got my Bos forks from them at a knock down price, too cheap if you ask me.
Been pining for a downhill bike for a while, if I wasn’t getting married later this year I’d have gone for the YT Tues. I could still get one this year, but a new bike turning up would probably dent the honeymoon period!
This, so much so that I am picking it up on Saturday 8)
Reason? I’ve always wanted to own a Kona (never thought it would be a hybrid though!). And in the spirit of Kona, it’ll mean I cycle more, and that’s gotta be a good thing! It’ll also save wear and tear on the mountain bike, and I won’t worry about leaving it locked outside the shop/pub.
Waiting for contact from insurance after I snapped my Canyon Aeroad in half, racing this weekend.
not sure where I’m going next, in an ideal world I’m looking at Di2. seen a lot of canyon failures recently, so thinking Giant TCR Advanced SL, or Ridley Helium
Davey – where did you get your offset bushes from, and do you rate them? I run 150mm Pikes on my 2013 Five and I’ve toyed with slackening it off a bit. Can’t beat Orange simplicity, especially in the north, and through winter. Cheers.
Really quite fancy one of these at the moment. I dont have the space at the moment and don’t want to sell anything to make the space so maybe after christmas when we have a new house and a garage to put bikes in.
