    Sunday afternoon…..

Picked up a used duo bike trailer for the little un’s and its currently got 20 x 1.75 tyres.. (the trailers in excellent condition)

Looks like I may need to replace one of the tubes, which got me thinking..

There’s loads of clearance, so could put a 2.2 width tyre on which should increase the smoothness of the ride or will it just make too much drag ?

Im thinking its more about the pressure than tyre width ??

    Sunday afternoon thoughts ?

    Cheers

Comfort is about pressure, but you need a wider tyre to run a lower pressure without risking pinch flats.

SChwalbe Mow Joe. Lightest 20″ high(ish) volume tyre with trail tread.
Otherwise there are some pretty big volume semi slick bmx race/dirt tyres if you’re just off round the pea gravel.

Thanks for the advice — think I will go for some BMX type ones I have seen.
