I’ve got a hankering for a van, my thoughts are bike inside while I drive and then on top when I sleep. Spend between now and next year modifying it and then disappear into Scotland and tour around with it. Cheap and reliable and nothing fancy, just want it keep on running and will sell on after my trip or keep it for another trip because it owes me so little! Anybody got any thoughts on the starting point for my search?

Mine is a transit connect lwb high top, cost me £2k and is perfect size for solo biking adventures. Enough room to have bike and bed in too, I just punt the bike outside when cooking/changing etc.
Decent enough driver for daily duties too.
I’m 6’2″ and can sleep out full length in there.
