Having just moved I’ve lost my old spacious shed, and for the forseeable am going to be using hooks and hanging bikes from a garage wall. Anything I need to look out for, ie does it affect forks / brake fluid at all?

I just use the cheap vinyl covered ones from B&Q and hook a front wheel over them.

Not really seen any problems with brakes and it keeps the fork seals nicely lubed 🙂

I’m having to store my bike in the dining room at the moment and went with one of the cycloc things, they are quite expensive (about £50 odd) but I couldn’t find anything else that was suitable, I needed to horizontal mount it and have a sloping top tube thats got all the cables running under it so not suitable for mounting there. I’ve got it mounted on the down tube and works quite well.
