I’ve been looking for a good way to store my bikes in the garage. I quite like the look of those wall mounted ones where you hook in the front wheel and the bike sits vertically.

Problem is….I’m not sure if my fat DH wheel and tyre would fit??

Has anybody had any experience of this???

Also could anyone tell me if these wall mounted hooks are suitable for road bikes??

    Cheers

Mine are on cheap B&Q hooks screwed into the garage roof with the bikes hanging from the saddles so any bike fits, leaves enough room to get the car below.

EDIT: Having re-read your post my info is useless, sorry no experience of vertical wall mountd hooks.

Just let some air out of the tyre until it does fit?

    I used these.

Road bikes no problem. They’re quite large hooks, how fat are your DH tyres?

We use these from £3.99 Decathlon. Takes DH wheels and tyres easily

    Garage is now tidy
