My old man is giving me grief about keeping my bikes in the kitchen/dining area.

He is insisting that he buys me a bike storage outside. I don't want one, but to appease him, I'll look into it.

Neither of which I fancy much. Not a chance I'm letting him spend 500 quid on that tin box and the wood one can be ripped apart.

Only thing I think would do the trick would be made of bricks and mortar and called an extension.

Any opnions on those two storage options?

You could always get your own place? 'Spect that would save him some money and give him more space 😀

Get the wood one, lay a new concrete base with a couple of ground anchors. Quite easy to beef up the hinges too when you build it.

We have a custom built wooden shed made by a local company. It has no windows, we upgraded the hinges and fitted a 5 lever security lock. Also the door only faces into the garden, wich is secure with locked gate. Also make sure you up the cover on the contents insurance.

I'd say you were getting a good deal and shoudl stop moaning.

Lot's of ground anchors, no windows and a secure door shoudl be enough. Depends where you live.
