    Ho hum

Lovely thing to wake up to this morning…

So my well loved voodoo djab was stolen from the back of my van in a secure multi story car park on Boston Street last night.

Police informed etc, don’t seriously expect to see it again but please any Manchester based riders keep an eye open for it.

    Silver Voodoo Djab in Large
Blue fox talas forks with slight wear on stauchons
    Black charge spoon saddle
    Superstar and novatech wheels
    Hope mono mini brakes

    Thanks all

    Update with pictures.

Big shout out to Mr IrBandito the previous owner who carefully recorded the frame number- WOD85037.

Note also the highly distinctive Green man headtube badge.

Also lost a green Osprey backpack with knee and elbow pads.

Please keep your eyes peeled. Obviously reported to Manchester Police.

    Cheers Jam,

Not only that they peeled back the window of my t4, which has been a pita to replace too…’might’ be some cctv footage, but building management dragging theor feet a bit on it.

What an arse they have damaged the van too.

I really liked that era DJab myself… I almost bought an earlier one in 1997. Instead I spent the money less wisely buying an engagement ring for a girl I never really proposed to and who turned out to be totally deranged!*

*Hopefully that last bit raised a smile at this crap time. 😉

@jam1974 – some things just aren’t meant to be!

If you still have the desire for some retro voodoo to, I still have a 1998 Voodoo Canzo ti frame in the shed gathering dust…

My small consolation is that they will struggle to find a fork replacement with a long enough 1 1/8steerer, and that the shorts they stole are very tight around the hips!

They have a beautiful ti frame ,but it is stuck down an evolutionary backwater…silver lining is that it was well past time for an upgrade anyway!

Shame you said that, I have an almost as new, large D-Jab gathering dust in my garage…. I was going to suggest that if insured, once they pay up, to make me an offer

(to help out, not to shark on your thread!)

    Thanks Nouns,

My van contents insurance is pretty rubbish, but I’ll bear it in mind!
