Son now starting to hammer local built trails with mates, His bike specialized hardrock 29er with upgraded forks not suitable me thinks. My evil HT is too large for him (yet). I do not have unlimited funds, may sell his hardrock to help fund, so would still need a versatile bike. Looking at second hand. Maybe £500 ish as budget. Thinking AM hardtail tough capable fun bike. Lost touch really as the sort of stuff he likes to do, I never did (go down hills fast) with jumps. Was thinking On One, Any suggestions, May buy a frame and build. I think my budget will not stretch to fS.
