    looking for a bike rack for a small hatchback, probably a citroen saxo VTR 2003,

    want it to hold about 3 bikes,

    i got a thule ride on , takes 3 bikes no probs at all only thing is , you need a tow ball to mount it, much better imo , than the other type.Cost was £120.00 from halfords , but can be bought a bit cheaper on the bay, hope this helps.

    Have you got a towball already, if not, check out the thule clip-ons. They are rock solid. You'll almost certainly need some electrics and a lightboard though.

    I have a Halfords high mount tailgate rack. Takes 2 bikes, 3 at a pinch, straps onto the tailgate, and holds them high enough to be above the lights on many models, depending how high the lights are. Fiat Punto for example has high mounted taillights so could be a problem.

    I don't need it any more as I now have an estate car, so if you're anywhere near Leeds I could let you have it for, say £30
