Is it just me but I refuse to ride with my friends friend because he still has the reflectors on his wheels!! Are there any more No No's that I should be aware of whilst out on the trail??

Everyone hates my bell on my xc and road bikes…

I get through traffic and walkers say Hi instead of "Oi get a bell"…

I need a bike stand for my commuter so I can kick out when I arrive at Tesco!

I'll be mostly riding on my own now…

    Beat me to it.
Would you also refuse to ride with people if their bike or riding skills were inferior to yours too? 😯

Reflectors and bells are okay, but quick releases done up at stupid angles are the sign of a bike numpty in my book.

Reflectors are on my bike wheels but that is because it gets used on the road and i am actually allergic to being run over

Ok my bad: people with their saddle height too low as their knees are bow legged like a welcome to you.

Ok they could have an injury etc.

zaskar – I didn't notice your bell the other night, I'd have sent you on your way otherwise! 😉

A mate of mine has a proper big ring ring type bell on his trail bike, he gives it a good ring before we start each section of trail – I kinda like it! 😀

I wouldn't ride with anyone who wasn't wearing a helmet.

That road one is completely fair. Made me laugh anyway.

Only wrong about the glasses over helmet straps though, for the reason explained by the prescription glasses wearer – if I didn't have my glasses on first I wouldn't be able to find my helmet.

I wouldn't ride with anyone who was so self righteous as to refuse to ride with someone who wasn't wearing a helmet.

I'm glad about that. It's not about being self-righteous, it's about not wanting to be responsible for someone else's stupidity.

Quite right Mikey. Imagine taking unnecessary risks like no helmet. Or mountain biking. Outrageous.

    Kramer

Indeed, becuase equating dissenting opinion with stupidity is in no way self righteous, because you must be right therefore they must be wrong. 🙄

    Just kidding…

I find it strange when I ride with people who don't wear helmets, still ride with them but its just strange.

blades I agree, it just doesn't look or feel 'right' to me, but that's just my opinion, it's up to them.

Dont mind a little joke, and if they dont wear one then fair enough, but im in agreement over helmets, i cant see why people wouldnt want to wear one.
