I've got Zinn and the art of mountain bike maintence which is pretty good as books go, but I'm wondering will I be gaining anything by buying Park's Big Blue book second edition?

Or are there any other suggestions?

A relative wants to buy me a book for Christmas!

How do they compare? Is one better than the other?

    Thanks

Park is good, but I can't compare it with Zinn for you I'm afraid.

A real find for me was a magazine brought out by the Bike Radar lot on road and MTB maintenance. It was in WH Smith in the summer – covers most things and is a bit clearer and more reader friendly than Park. It's basically a compilation of all the workshop articles out of C+ and WMB or whatever their mags are.

Again – Park one is good but I can't compare to the Zinn one.
