I drove down to the supermarket this morning and there were loads of cyclists out, far more than the normal Sunday runs you see. Admittedly most were slightly overweight, wearing ill-fitting yellow jerseys and wobbling a bit but more people on bikes is a good thing.

Good weather + Tour de France + residual “Olympic effect” = lots of cyclists = good. In my book anyway…
