just heading back to blighty for a few weeks in Oct from NZ, want to do a few rides with some old mates but its not worth carting a bike round the world just for a couple of rides.
Is there anywhere around Halifax i could rent one? not planning on going to any trail centers, it would be Peaks most likely

I think you might struggle to be honest. No trail centres in the local area, I would say ringing round the local bike shops would be your best bet.

Best bet would probably be a demo bike. Sowerby Brothers in Mirfield might help you out or Earnshaws in Huddersfield. Maybe All Terrain in Shipley. Don,t know of anything in Halifax itself.
