A couple of us are doing the BHF London to South Coast off-road ride this Saturday and we'd like to stay in Brighton on Saturday night. Does anyone have any recommendations for a fairly central place to stay, with bike storage, in the region of £20-30 pppn? Ta!

There is a youth hostel at Patcham/Preston on the A23. No idea of prices and bike friendliness. You're going to struggle to get anywhere central, on a Saturday and for anywhere near that price. It may be your only option.
