  • Bike friendly camping barns/bunkhouses in the Peak District & Lake District

Looking to spend the first half of a week in the Peak District (Edale/Hope Valley), the latter in the the Lake District (Ambleside/Windermere).

I would welcome recommendations for some nice camping barns or bunkhouses in good riding locations in those two areas?

As I don’t currently have a car, I would prefer a place not too distant from a local train station and one that offers secure bike storage.

    Thanks!

Give these guys a shout. Some great biking from the door. Both Ben and Sab are mountain bikers. Good people. I’ve known Ben for many many years.

It’s in Kentmere so great access to doorstep trails, Staveley train station 4 flat miles away, Staveley can be incorporated into a ride & has the excellent Wilfs cafe, Hawkshead Brewery with bar, local food store & Wheelbase bikes.

I’ve used Upper Booth Camping Barn in the Edale valley before, nice and cheap camping barn with good riding from the door.
