    Budget £1500
    wants 120-140mm hardtail off the peg soo custom build ideas. fancies a crush or p7 pro. Any alternatives in this bracket to consider?

    needs to be 15″ frame as he is quite short (5ft 6″)

    spec wise

    pro2s/slx/would prefer maxle or qr15

    Is 16″ acceptable?

    Bit more choice like a Genesis Altitude 20 or On-One Carbon 456 Trail (complete build so off-the-peg as it were)

    Revolution Triad zero (150mm) from EBC and then spend the other £500 on some lighter wheels or a holiday?

    Was going to suggest the Soul but not off-the-peg although I’m sure somewhere like 18bikes would sort you out.

    Anyway, I’ll add another…Marin Rocky Ridge
