    Hi

We are getting a dog soon which hopefully once grown a bit will be up for a walk/run when I go out mountain biking. But in the meantime and partly to make the short urban trip to the trails more straight forward, I’m thinking of getting a basket or carrier of some sort to carry the dog. Any ideas or recommendations?

It’s a cockapoo which is not anticipated to grow much more than 16/17inches at the shoulder.

If you’ve done this and have pics that would be great.

I’m not into the idea of taking the dog on a lead while I’m on the bike. Saw evidence of why that’s a bad idea earlier this afternoon.

    Cheers

I bought a Doggyride for my terrier

She hasn’t taken to it particularly well but she’s older and a typically independent terrier! But I think it could work well for a pup. Make sure you pad it well so it’s comfortable.

Talk to keep Pedalling in Manchester, they have a dog named olive who has a bike mounted basket, they are touring/cargo/ utility specialists
