    I'm off the Malaysia (KL) soon. Seeing as most Shimano stuff is made there, can I expect to pick up any bargains or does it all go straight in shipping containers bound for the rest of the world?

    I looked in to this last year as we have people going over there all the time.

    Prices seemed to be more or less the same as the UK in Singapore. I could not find a Malaysian bike shop on line.

    Also XTR and possibly XT are still made in Japan.
