  • Bicycles and trailers on trains?

Specifically on intercity trains, Newcastle to Edinburgh. I know bikes have to be booked on but wondered if anyone had any experience with trailers attached?

    Thanks

I’ve never done it, but the eastcoast 225s keep the bikes up front in a guards area hung by the front wheel.
You’d have no chance on a cross country service I reckon.

So hung by the front wheel with a trailer attached could be interesting.

I managed to sneak on a late one back from Alnmouth with my son last October. We just looked glum (no booking cos I didn’t realise but empty train) and got let on to stand in a corridor.
