need to redo some white silicone on white tiles. i can cut it out with a razor blade but im worried it will make marks on the tiles (from the metal blade) any tips/ideas…

The tiles won't mark – at least, mine didn't

silicone killer stuff and then one of those scrapers they sell to get paint off window glass when you've painted the frames that uses a stanley knife blade.

nope, tiles shouldn't mark using a razor/stanley blade, unless your tiles are made of green-clay, plastic or rubber?

use a very sharp blade and you'll be ok, use it more of a razor than a knife if you get my drift (keep the blade flat)

Cut the bulk off and then use silicon remover to tidy up the bits.

Get the professional tools, if not, as wwaswas says and patience.

You can buy these at Topps Tiles for a couple of quid, and then use Silicone eater on the left over bits.

I've found that silicone eater doesn't work that well if you don't remove the bulk of it first.

Blade, silicon eater, and wipe over with white spirit after!!!

when you reapply FILL UP THE BATH FIRST!!!!!

edit: if you are doing a bath 🙂

ps: use just use a wet finger to smooth over with and make sure no hanging "bits" left.

It's a 75% tool, but better than a blade and screwdriver and worth the £10
