Same way as to successfully bed in any pads, sintered, organic or otherwise… Get em hot hot hot!

ride break, ride break, ride break, etc, etc (not locking up the wheels) until the rotor is hot (around 10-20 times) – sprinkle some water on it – it should sizzle. Bingo. Pads should be bed in.

In reality I bung em in seconds before a ride and hope for the best.

To be fair, if you can lock up the wheels on a normal road surface (i.e. not offroad, gravel etc), chances are they’re working. After fitting my brakes I wasn’t thinking and almost got turned into a bonnet ornament at the first lights I tried to stop at.

I ride to the top of the hill just outside my house and scrub the brakes the whole way down. That usually does it. If not then I do it again.

As above I bed mine in by riding. First few stops are a bit dodgy but after that the pads are mated nicely to the rotors and they’re working fine.
