    Apart from riding up big hill and then grab handfulls on the way down to seal them* any other way of preventing them falling apart at the first sniff of rain – *shimano resin

    the magura “cycle on the flat up to a running pace and then brake almost to stop, repeat 20-30 times” approach seems to have a lot of fans.

    when i just had some new discs/pads on my car they told me not to brake hard for the first 150 miles.

    go figure…
