I wouldn’t even consider one of the Geigerrig packs as featured in fresh goods.

A mate works in the outdoor industry and was given a sample to try – a Rig 500 or 700 (can’t remember which). We both tried it and it’s horrible.

The material feels and looks cheap.

The pressurized bladder is a daft gimmick. If you try to ‘squirt’ it into your mouth it sprays everywhere. The claims of ‘rinsing’ your bike down are pretty spurious it comes out nowhere near fast enough for that.

The stiff insert in the pack is smaller than the back area so it falls to one side. As a result when you pump up the bladder it pushes uncomfortably in your back. Also pressurizing the bladder makes the back contact area become rounded, again uncomfortable.

Stick to Osprey or Camelbak. They’re the market leaders for a reason (although Source bladders are excellent).

    Evoc by far the best?

    Best at doing garish 😉

Per my earlier remarks – over designed /heavier than they need to be.
