We have a reasonably new electric double oven to sell. I don’t really want to eBay it as it is probably worth £150 – £200 and if few people bid I end up selling it for a fiver.

The previous times I have tried to shift stuff through Freecycle no-one responded at all.

Any ideas how best to sell it?

Sold ours a few years ago in the local paper, plenty of people renting out houses so on the look out for white goods etc I reckon.

On Ebay with a reserve?

Your local Freecycle may be different to the one round here but it’s not a place to sell things.

Sold a similar one last week via ebay – £160 buy it now and it sold in 24hrs. Was pretty happy with that.
