One muddy ride seems to have destroyed the pads they were supplied with

Not bothered about ultimate stopping power just want something that can cope with winter conditions

they come with organic, no good at this time of year as you found. i now use sram sintered, seem to last much better and still plenty of stopping power(although noisier when wet). about £10 a pair from CRC.

listed as avid xo trail but the pads you get are packaged as sram

I’m amazed by whichever pads came with them. Seen me through a few months of riding with enduro races thrown in. I cant kill them. Ok I don’t ride twice a week every week but along with the races it has mostly been steep ‘endooro’ trails and they keep going. Have SS Kevlars waiting in the garage.

Normally I’m a fan of organic pads but we’ve been using sintered pads from superstar this winter and they’re lasting much longer and no where near as noisy as their sintered pass used to be.
