I love the song that the mice sing so much that I found out the tune is based on Saint Saen’s forth movement of Symphony No 3 ‘Organ’ in C minor!

Yeah they love Matilda (as do I).

They liked the Snowman (and the one we subsequently made) and have the book (I try to keep them away from my original copy of the 3D pop-up version). I have also introduced them to the wonderful world of Fungus the Bogeyman – a great book 🙂

Yep, it’s a wonderful life is a great family film.
It’s actually better after you’ve watched it once.

James and the Giant Peach with Pete Postlethwaith was always a favourite too on our house when our lad was younger.

The “old” Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory is brilliant. Bit dark in parts maybe though?
