got a bit of a sore face after some friction at the velodrome on Sat 🙁 Chemist sold me some Acriflex ‘antiseptic cream for burns, scalds and blisters’ ?

sore as a sore thing, and very dry feeling – anything better over the counter ? ( apart from a tube of MTFU 🙂 )

    Cheers

Hammerite, make sure you give it a light sanding first.

Depending on surface area required, I quite like germoline, numbs the pain a bit.

It’ll make you reek of germoline mind…

Just keep it very clean and dry so as to allow the protective scab to form.

Recently I’ve been using Corsodyl mouthwash for minor cuts and scratches and it works a treat as an antiseptic, especially when my bas***d cat scratches me.

Bio-Oil – used this twice daily on my face, elbows and knees following dark side accident. Used it on my shoulder after an op but irritated.

I can imagine mouthwash being a bit nippy….

Bio – Oil – will have a look, thanks

EDIT – infact, I’m sure mrsIainc had that for her cesarian scar
