Has anyone seen this new map that’s just been released – maybe good for finding places with good terrain for riding?

    Cool Map!

I used to use ESRI products back when i specialised in GIS systems before i moved over to work on Mapinfo…. good (if nerdy) times

Anyway not sure how that’ll help find trails more easily than comparing OS to aerial images

    Looks pretty though

+1 on the strava heat map – I do wish you could make fainter lines brighter though as some of my local stuff isn’t ridden by many but it would be really useful to see them.

OSM is good too because many people upload their trails to it and it’s often more accurate than OS which can be out of date.

Strava is the way to do it. Crowd-sourced mapping by those who don’t even know they’re doing it.
